Commentary by Derek

Visually, I decided to not really do backgrounds at all as a style thing. Dunno. Beast is so huge though (gaston too sometimes) - he tends to draw your eye to him so you might miss what's going on elsewhere, but oh well.

Vocally, Phil was a trooper with that throat-thrashing Beast voice. Belle is him again, with the pitch kicked up a bit. Several of his adlibs made it in! But one of his favourite lines did not. You'll see it if I get around to putting up the deleted/alternate scenes. I took the supporting roles. Had some audio problems with Maurice and Gaston, but oh well.

Vscriptally, I wanted to focus less on being all "writer" like, and just let it flow all freeform. Fun, but it led to even more cutting/revising than usual. See the script scans for some of that. It could still use some work, but oh well.
