Derek's commentary:
I've always liked drawing with pencil. It's gritty, sketchy, and smudgy, just like my brain. Plus I was sick of the slick, strict digital look of Trashimation. And Trashimation in general. So this was a rebellion against the old guard, being short, pencil-ridden and fun to do again.
The original idea for this was that a new angel got to heaven and was worried about leaving his hats behind. Chris and Phil were to voice the bastard, but they were unavailable. So the whole creature mutated into what you see now.
