Derek's commentary:
I like cannibalism. Not the cuisine, but as a morbid comic element. That begat this inkblort strip, which begat this Nightlight. I wanted to try translating one of my comics to an animation, and this was a good candidate -- I liked the strip, but I could definitely see fleshing it out and then eating that flesh.
Chris brought in his reliably funny nature for his first real animation role! Phil busted out his lines with epic, regal awesomeness! Robyn wowed us with her accent and gentlewomanly charm!
Besides my usual procrastination, this was a blast.
