Derek's commentary:
Part of me wanted to end Subcultured here. It would've been cool to finish with the two-parter, the much more robust animation, and call-back to every previous episode (including "Precultured" found in the Oblivion Bin). But! The extra effort put into this one is actually what made me want to continue. I like how this story wrapped itself up in such a weird way, but I admit maybe this kind of narrative isn't suited for the series. It was fun to do anyway!
