I think half of the reason this movie was made was so that we could use some new equipment that had been sitting around unused for months and months. Primarily we had a 35mm adapter for our trusty Canon HV20, which helped give us that more filmic look. It's an amazingly difficult piece of gear to use, so testing it on a simple concept like this was ideal. But it was still a fun shoot as usual, and it was pretty interesting doing something without dialogue.
The other reason for doing this movie was so we could smash something. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
